Roll a Lucky Egg Beginner's Guide

Here's how to get going in Roll a Lucky Egg, from your first roll to your first rebirth.

1. Roll your first egg

Walk up to the lane and roll. The official thumbnail shows an E – ROLL prompt. The further the egg goes, the better to be verified. Try to land perfect rolls, because perfect rolls trigger special effects. See controls.

2. Hatch and place pets

Your egg hatches into a pet. Rarities include rare, legendary and DIVINE, and pets can roll Gold or Rainbow mutations. Place your best pets on your plot so they earn money. See pets.

3. Train Strength

Use the weights in the Weight Shop. Strength makes your rolls go further, which leads to better eggs and pets. See Strength & weights.

4. Rebirth

When you reach the Strength requirement, rebirth. You keep your Strength and gain +0.5x Money Multiplier. See rebirths.

5. Repeat and collect

Every loop gets faster. The goal is to "collect the rarest eggs and become the ultimate egg roller".

What to buy first (optional)

If you want to spend Robux, 2X MONEY (299) speeds up everything, and VIP (899) includes every pass. You don't need Robux to play. See game passes.
